Terry Land was successfully elected to be your Breckland Councillor in a by-election in July 2022. Since then, he has made a real difference and got stuck into a whole range of local issues.
He is re-standing for a full term as your Councillor and hopes he can count on your support once more. Terry is 63-years-old and married to Jane. He is a community activist and a dedicated volunteer for the Community Shop at Charles Burrell Centre.
He is also a regular attendee at various local community litter picks and helps lead the newly created Boudica Ward litter pick every month.
During the by-election campaign, and since, Terry has been out and about talking with Boudica Ward residents. He is active within the local community and on social media. Terry says; “I love Thetford. However, it has so much potential that is not being realised.
I know residents are also proud of where we live – but are frustrated with the lack of infrastructure and slow pace of change. I promised to be a voice for Boudica Ward and Thetford as a whole working on behalf of local residents. I hope I have demonstrated my work ethic and can count on your support once more.”
